My name is Stephanie and I am a 2017 college graduate from the University of St. Thomas-Houston, with a degree in Biochemistry and Psychology. I’m a cancer researcher by day and a blogger by night who enjoys all things financial.
My blog is both about helping students find ways to be financially independent and how to navigate their way through college and post-college life. I don’t have all the answers when it comes to handling personal finances or life in general, but I can promise you that you will most likely learn from my past (and future) mistakes (I make many). I want to beat the status quo and help those just like me, same degree or not, in finding different ways to gain money and save money. I want to help the incoming or current college students who, like me, was confused about how to keep my money in the bank or how to let my savings grow all while trying to survive in a college with inflated tuition and college expenses.
In the end, we’re all here to learn, and I hope I can teach you some of the things I learned while I was in college about financial wealth and how to survive these 4-5 (or more) most important years of your life. Welcome to the journey, I hope you stay along for the ride!
